Herrero is an excellent example of the Spanish Colonial Revival style in America. The 11-acre masterpiece was
designed by architect George Washington Smith for the Steedman family, and is renowned not only for the
grand house but also for its extensive Moorish-style gardens and collection of 15th and 16th-century art objects
